Description
This 1928 edition of the Haverhill High School yearbook features Elmer Nelson’s younger daughter, Beatrice. “Bea,” a member of E.K.S., French club, and Philomathian, seems to have had a knack for acting, as her description mentions her performance as Puck in A Midsummer Night’s Dream. It continues to describe her “grace and kindly spirit.” Also on the page are Dorothy Gertrude Nelson and Norma Anne Nettle, girls both characterized as cheerful.
