Walter, 57 years old, is listed as a wheelbarrow manufacturer and farmer. Along with Walter are his second wife Elizabeth (45), sons Harlow (20) and Austin (18), and daughter Lois (17). Nelson’s eldest son, Walter Jr., had been married and in his own household in 1939.
